Finalist of DesignEuropa Awards 2024

Piil has been chosen as one of Finalists of the DesignEuropa Award 2024!

In total, six outstanding European designs were selected by a professional jury from over 800 applications — within two competing categories: Small Companies Award and the Industry Award. Piil has made the selection within the former category, where it will be competing with the ModuleOne smart home battery system by MyGrid (Belgium) and the minimalist Turntable by Transparent (Sweden).

The Industry Award features such established brands as Bang & Olufsen (Denmark), Linet (Czhechia) and Meze Audio (Romania).

Alongside the announcement of the Winners in September 2024, the celebration will also feature the iconic designer Dieter Rams, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Needless to say, it’s amazing to be included in such esteemed company, and getting into the Final feels like a huge achievement already!

The Award is organised by the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and is given to designs and industry pioneers who have protected their ideas and products as Registered Community Designs — which grants exclusive intellectual property rights and protects the appearance of a product throughout all EU Member States.

Piil is a Registered Design nr 015041799-0001 & 015041799-0002, while the name of the product Piil is a Registered Trademark.
